I'd like to try the powershell command "Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature" but concerned that my abilities would be tested and I don't want to break the installation. That in the last 7days media player was installed 20th uninstalled 23rd and my 6 failed installs today. Media Player is an available feature in Apps and features >Manage optional features where, selecting and clicking "install" gives an "advancing" progress bar but no installation takes place and no error message generated. Established that media player issues arose with preview upgrades (peak in October) but none of the suggested reinstall solutions work. Established that the difference between the laptop and desktop is Windows Camera connects to hub but will only see and connect to a desktop running the Pro version of the above build. Using home network tried to connect Canon camera via Wi-Fi to laptop.
